The density is 0.93. Melting point is 2.5-3.5ºC. Boiling point is 200-220ºC (0.07501 mmHg). The flash point is 253ºC. It is prepared from 1,2,4-trimethylbenzene as raw material through iodination, nitration, reduction and oxidation to obtain 2,3,5-trimethylbenzoquinone, and then reduction and condensation with phytol.
