Vitamin D2 Powder is also known as ergosterol or calciferol. They are mainly found in vegetable oils or yeast ergosterol solids. VD2 is a colorless or white crystal, odorless, and its melting point is 115~118℃. Insoluble in water, soluble in alcohol, ether, acetone, and slightly soluble in vegetable oil. Unstable in air and sunlight, easily inactivated in moist air. Its main function is to maintain the normal metabolism of calcium and phosphorus, promote the deposition of calcium and phosphorus into bones and tissues, and can be used for the prevention and treatment of metabolic bone diseases.
