Product Background:
L-carnitine, also known as L-carnitine, is an amino acid that promotes the conversion of fat into energy. Red meat is the main source of L-carnitine and has no toxic side effects on the human body. L-carnitine is a key substance in the process of fat metabolism, which can promote the oxidative breakdown of fatty acids into mitochondria. It can be said that L-carnitine is a carrier for transporting fatty acids. In long-term high-intensity exercise, L-carnitine increases the oxidation rate of fat, reduces glycogen consumption, and also delays fatigue. However, there are few direct applications of pure L-carnitine in this type of product on the market at present. This is because pure L-carnitine has strong hygroscopicity and is prone to clumping and deterioration. People generally make it into L-carnitine salts and their derivatives, such as L-carnitine tartrate, L-carnitine fumarate, L-carnitine hydrochloride, acetyl L-carnitine, etc. There are also many research reports on this aspect both domestically and internationally, such as the Chinese patent (CN 1349976A) for the preparation of L-carnitine tartrate, the Chinese patent (CN 101209975A) for the preparation of L-carnitine calcium fumarate, and international methods such as the US patent (4602039 L-carnitine tartrate) and (5703376 L-carnitine fumarate).
The derivatives of L-carnitine prepared through these methods are more stable compared to L-carnitine and are less hygroscopic during transportation, maintenance, and use. However, they may have some characteristic flavors, and the effective content of L-carnitine in the products is relatively low; L-carnitine tartrate is about 55%, and L-carnitine fumarate is about 58%. More importantly, the process of preparing L-carnitine into a salt involves related chemical reactions and requires the use of relevant chemical reagents. In industrial production, it is necessary to control the process and treat wastewater, and other related quality and environmental factors. Although stable L-carnitine derivatives can be obtained, the process is too cumbersome.
The invention adopts the method of preparing microcapsule powder. Pure L-carnitine crystals are dried by spray, and suitable packaging materials are selected to prepare L-carnitine microcapsule powder, which can effectively embed L-carnitine, form a protective layer, isolate L-carnitine from the external environment, and solve the problem of its strong moisture absorption. At the same time, the effective content of L-carnitine in the product is above B0%, far higher than L-carnitine salts, and the whole process is simple, It does not involve chemical reactions or sewage treatment and is environmentally friendly.
A preparation method for L-carnitine microcapsule , is characterized in that it comprises the following steps:
1) Weigh 5% mass percentage of gelatin, add it to water, swell for about 1 hour, raise the temperature to 45 ℃, stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved, then add 4% mass percentage of Arabic gum and 4% mass percentage of maltodextrin to the gelatin solution, stir to dissolve, and finally obtain the packaging solution;
2) Add 85% by mass of L-carnitine, 1% by mass of sodium ascorbate, and 1% by mass of tricalcium phosphate to the packaging solution, stir to fully dissolve, mix evenly, and obtain the embedding solution;
3) The embedding solution is dried by a spray drying tower to obtain microencapsulated L-carnitine-like powder.
2. The preparation method according to claim 1, is characterized in that the conditions for the spray drying are: the air inlet temperature is 160-190 ℃, the air outlet temperature is 70-100 ℃, and the feed flow rate is controlled at 5-30mL/s
