Product description: The dihydrate is yellow needle-shaped crystals (in dilute ethanol), that becomes anhydrous at 95-97°C, melting point at 314°C (decomposition). Soluble in 290ml anhydrous ethanol, 23ml boiling ethanol, soluble in glacial acetic acid, alkaline water solution appears yellow, almost insoluble in water, and ethanol solution tastes bitter.

What is it?
Derived from the Latin word "Quercetum," meaning oak forest, it is a subclass of flavonoid compounds and a natural component widely present in plants. it promotes various physiological processes in plants, such as seed germination, pollen growth, antioxidant mechanisms, and photosynthesis, and induces appropriate plant growth and development.
According to earlier research, it possesses a range of biological features, including immune-regulating, antiviral, anti-allergic, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant effects. These properties form the basis for potential benefits to overall health and disease resistance.
It is present in various foods, including apples, berries, vegetables of the genus Brassica, Zanthoxylum bungeanum, grapes, onions, scallions, tea, tomatoes, as well as many seeds, nuts, flowers, barks, and leaves.

But because it is not easily absorbed from meals, it has a limited bioavailability. Humans can absorb about 50% of that in onions and 30% in apples. 2. Other Effects
Several studies suggest that quercetin plays a role in managing metabolic disorders through various mechanisms, such as antioxidant activity, reducing insulin resistance, increasing insulin levels, and blocking calcium channels, thereby reducing blood pressure and regulating high blood lipid and blood sugar levels.
How to use it?
Taking 300-600 mg per day is the basic preventive dosage for preventing heart disease. If higher dosages are required, the single dose should not exceed 600 mg, and the total daily intake should not exceed 1200 mg. For daily health maintenance and disease prevention, single-ingredient products are sufficient.
